AGS Associates is a firm of Chartered Accountants which has commenced its professional practice in 2010. Presently, three senior Chartered Accountants namely Mr.M.W.D.Ariyasena, Mr.G.Samarasekara and Mrs.S.D.Marasinghe are serving as the Partners in the professional practice.

We undertake statutory Audit and Assurance services in a wide spectrum of business organizations. We have experienced professionals in many industries who can carry out internal audits and process audits for the clients who needs to strengthen their internal control environment.

Gamini Samarasekera is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, Chartered Tax Advisor and reading for MBA(Tax) at PIM. He is specialized in Auditing and Taxation and gained commercial experience in local and international business firms. He is a social worker and served over 10 years as a member of Lions Clubs International.

Sureka Marasinghe

Sureka Marasinghe is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, She is specialized in Accounting and Auditing and gained commercial experience in local and international business firms. She hold managerial position at several multinational companies.

Premachandra

I have joined Ministry of Financing and Planning as a planning officer, on graduation as a B.Com degree holder with a first class pass from the University of Sri Jayawardanapura, in 1979. Thereafter on 1st January 1980 I was selected as a Management Trainee to The National Development Bank of Sri Lanka (NDB).

NDB I was exposed to a six months comprehensive training on Techniques of Project Financing by a team of Indian consultants from ICICI Bank. The program included both theoretical as well as on the job training.

I have served in the Bank for 25 years at various capacities from Management Trainee to Head of SME Financing Department of the Bank and retired as a senior Development Banker. While working in the Bank I have successfully completed the MBA program of the Post Graduate Institute of Management - University of Sri Jayawardanapura

Ajith Alahakoon

ACA-(M2278), B.COM(SP), AIB(SL)

Mr.Ajith Alahakoon is a graduate from University of Sri Jayawardenapura. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka with 40 years of banking experience especially in development banking. He is specialized in project financing & feasibility studies and trainer in development banking.

He has participated many international forums and training programs on Development Banking as country representative. He has provided consultancy services in programs conducted by Asian Development Bank (ADB). Further, he has gained knowledge in Micro Finance activities while he was serving at Regional Development Bank (RDB).

Chamila Ranwala

Mr.Chamila Ranwala is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business & Financial Administration structured by the ICASL in association with Cranfield University School of Management, UK.

Chamila started his professional career as an Internal Auditor after obtaining required qualification and experience from a reputed firm of Chartered Accountants. He counts over 16 years of commercial experience in Manufacturing, Trading, Automobile, Stock Broking and Investment Banking.

T M P G Tennakoon

Mr.T M P G Tennakoon is a senior Finance and Human Resources Development Professional with over 32 years’ of experience.

After serving many years in Ceylon Tourist Board as Deputy Director Finance, he joined the Education sector as the Nation’s leader in HRM, IPM Sri Lanka holding the position of Head of Finance, and progressed to the position of Director Finance & Administration. Later he was promoted as the Chief Executive officer.

Having completed a 16-years long journey at IPM/CIPM, he concluded his tenure as CEO in April 2020 bringing a number of achievements that enabled the institution to be more recognized with the Charter status and renaming the institute as the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Sri Lanka(Inc.)

He is a Chartered Member of CIPM and certified HR Auditor of CIPM Sri Lanka. A fellow member of Chartered Professional Managers, Sri Lanka (CPMSL) and possess Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Financial Administration plus Senior Certified Business Accountant of CA, Sri Lanka. He has earned his MBA from Wolverhampton University U.K.

He possess wide ranging experience in the field of Quality assurance and (ISO&TQM) productivity enhancement. Further he is an active member of Sri Lanka Association for advancement of Quality and Productivity (SLAAQP) of which he currently functions as the Hony. Treasurer. He is also a life time member of OPA Sri Lanka. Currently T M P G Tennakoon, functions as the Chief Operating Officer in one of the leading UGC approved, Non- State Universities.

Sujanthi De Costa

Sujanthi De Costa has gained wealth of mercantile experience over 20 years in wide spectrum of industries including construction, health care etc. Further, she has served in the Assurance division in one of the leading firm of Chartered Accountants prior to joining AGS.

Laksara De Costa

Laksara De Costa has been in service in AGS since it’s inception, 2012. She has experience in company secretarial activities for over 6 years prior to taking over the responsibility in AGS.
